Bank card payments in ZuBeri are accepted through the secure payment gateway of JSC Bank of Georgia. Card details are entered only on the bank's page — the Company neither sees nor stores them.
1. Accepted Cards
Visa and Mastercard issued by any bank in Georgia or abroad. The payment currency is the Georgian lari (GEL); if your card is denominated in another currency, your bank performs the conversion at its own rate.
2. How Payment Works
- In the app, select "Add card". The secure payment page of Bank of Georgia will open (the address begins with https and a padlock icon is shown in the browser).
- Enter the card number, expiry date, cardholder name and CVV/CVC.
- Confirm the transaction with the 3-D Secure code (Visa Secure / Mastercard Identity Check) sent by your bank.
- The bank stores the card as a secure token. Only the last 4 digits are displayed in the app.
- When an order is placed, the estimated amount may be placed on hold on the card; after the order is completed, the actual price is charged and the remaining amount is released.
- An electronic receipt appears in the order history.
3. Security
- Card data are processed by the bank in accordance with the PCI DSS standard.
- All connections are protected by TLS encryption.
- 3-D Secure protects against use of the card without the cardholder's knowledge.
- The bank and the Company apply anti-fraud checks; suspicious transactions may be declined.
4. Possible Reasons for a Declined Payment
- insufficient funds on the card;
- the card does not support online payments, or they have been disabled by the bank;
- the 3-D Secure check was not passed;
- the card details were entered incorrectly.
In these cases, please contact your bank or choose to pay in cash.
5. Cancellation and Refunds
The conditions are set out in the Cancellation & Refund Policy. Refunds are made only to the card that was used for payment.
6. Security Tips
- Never disclose your CVV or SMS codes to anyone — ZuBeri staff will never ask for them.
- Enter your card details only on the bank's page opened from the ZuBeri app.
